Sarah Seven Easton dress--classically beautiful, the perfect combination of vintage & modern. From Sarah Seven: "Made from gorgeous silk gabardine, the 'Easton' gown has a delicate romantic lace detail bodice with dramatic V-neck front and back. The most flattering shape, the gown is fitted to the waist/hips, with a lovely weight to the fabric to hug curves but not feel heavy." I had it cleaned and pressed pre-wedding, then cleaned and pressed again a couple of weeks after our wedding. It has been stored inside the dry cleaners bag with cardboard bust inside of a closet ever since. I really loved this dress, it was a perfect balance of simple and elegant, with just enough detail and showing off curves. It was comfortable all day, and not too hot for our August evening outdoor wedding. I hope it can be loved again, it deserves another spin out in the world!

Blemishes, Damage, or Stains?: There are a few areas on the train with faint smudges from the bustled train dragging that I did not try again to get removed, but are very subtle and a targeted professional cleaning could fix. They look like very light shadows, not immediately noticeable.

Alterations

4 minor alterations include: 1) taken in at waist ~2 in (including in-store try on pics, you can see clips in back to verify the minor amt taken in); 2) V neckline and backline raised ~2 in (so V's are not as "deep" as original); 3) front hemline taken up slightly to be floor-length (I'm 5'8" & wore 4" heels, so still quite long); 4) bra cups sewn in (necessary w/ sheerness of top but could be swapped out). Train is intact. The seamstress did add hidden loops/beads in the train for bustling, but these are easily removed.
