This Essense of Australia Style D3238 wedding dress was purchased in 2022 and worn for only five hours during an intimate ceremony and sit-down dinner with no reception. The gown is in like-new condition, with the only minor flaw being a few slight loose threads on the lace from snagging on rhinestone shoes. It features professional alterations completed by a highly skilled wedding dress seamstress in Destin, Florida, who has over 30 years of experience. The modifications included shortening the length, taking up the straps, and tailoring the bodice and back. Additionally, a hook-and-eye bustle was added for the train, and authentic extra lace purchased directly from the designer was seamlessly applied. Application of custom lace (extra that was purchased directly from Essense of Australia and the same lace of the dress), work on the bodice and back of the dress, the straps were taken up, the length was reduced, and hook and eye were added so the train can be bustled. None of these alternations are easily visible on the dress. The alterations were done by a highly skilled wedding dress seamstress with over 30 years experience that is located in Destin, FL.
