As mentioned in the main description, when the shop I purchased the dress from cleaned it (I bought unworn from a boutique that seeks “out of date” dresses meaning I got a 2019 in 2021) the lace in the front by the toes shrunk a little. It is NOT noticeable in the lace pattern or anywhere on the body. The only area it is noticeable is by the toes as the under fabric sticks out about an inch farther depending on how you stand. If you hem the inner material no alteration is needed. My seamstress said she could easily stretch the lace back out the 1 inch (I wasn’t going to hem the dress). But I ended up in a similar but different dress. As you can see in the pictures it’s not noticeable when the interior material is pulled in towards the body. Only if you were to kick out like when you walk.
