Beautiful and unique showstopper by the incomparable Reem Acra: this wedding ballgown has a flattering dropped waist and beautiful box pleats. Luminous Ivory satin with stunning lace patterned embroidery in an antique gold cording, silver toned sequins, and ivory pearls. Built in crinoline, and the top has a double layer, and inside layer with zipper works like a corset and an outer layer on top so that the outer layer doesn’t take the brunt of strain. Condition is excellent, had it professionally dry cleaned by a company who specializes in wedding gowns. It will also come in the original Reem Acra garment bag. This unique beauty was loving stored flat and rotated to minute strain in any one side while stored in an air conditioned room in our home and ready to make another beautiful bride’s Big Day extra special! It is truly “Outstanding”!

Alterations

When it was altered to a smaller size, some of the pattern was lost on the sides in order to maintain the front and back patterns, but no one could tell since I rarely had my arm up in photos and also the design was so intricate that it wasn’t obvious. My seamstress left allowances in the seams to allow it to be let out again. At time of wedding, my measurements were 33 bust and 25 waist. 5 ft 4 and I wore 4 inch platform heels.
